UFC Champion: Motivation & Focus

Building a sports agency, Confiança Sports Management I have had the opportunity to work with world class athletes in the NFL, NBA and the UFC.  I have never met a group of athletes that train harder than those in the ring. It is 2-3 times a day 5 to 6 days a week. They are almost super human in what they do in the gym.

Tonight Chris Weidman goes in the cage to defend his title against a pure killer in Vitor Belfort.

One thing that stands out is motivation. How do world class athletes stay motivated? Not just motivated but motivated to stay at the top of the mountain as a champion. There is a photo on Chris Weidman’s refrigerator that outlines his goals and keeps motivation at the forefront of his mind at all times.

“I Chris Weidman will beat Vitor Belfort on May 23rd, 2015 and still be the UFC Champ!”
